LEE NESTER
Founder & Lead CFO
Lee Nester is a financial and operational leader with over 24 years of experience, holding both a BBA and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. His background spans investment banking, private equity, and senior management roles such as CFO and COO across industries including manufacturing, technology, oil & gas, HVAC, and real estate.
His core expertise includes financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, turnaround management, and profitability improvement. He has guided companies through growth strategies, restructuring initiatives, and key operational enhancements.
BRAD KEVIL
CPA
Brad Kevil brings more than 25 years of experience serving small and closely held businesses with comprehensive tax and accounting solutions. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1996. He is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA).
Brad began his career at Price Waterhouse, where he spent three years in audit before joining his family’s CPA practice in 1996. Since then, he has dedicated his career to helping small businesses navigate complex tax and financial reporting requirements with clarity and confidence.
His areas of expertise include corporate and partnership tax preparation (Forms 1120S, 1120, and 1065), individual income tax planning and compliance (Form 1040), and proactive tax strategy discussions designed to optimize client outcomes.
In addition to tax services, Brad performs financial statement audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), 401(k) plan audits in compliance with Department of Labor requirements, and financial statement compilations under both tax basis and GAAP frameworks.
Brad is known for his practical approach, attention to detail, and long-standing relationships with business owners across multiple industries.
JASON KEVIL
CPA
Jason Kevil has more than two decades of experience advising small and closely held businesses on tax strategy and compliance. He earned both his BBA and Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1999. He is a member of the AICPA and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jason began his career in the tax practice at KPMG, where he spent four years developing deep technical expertise in federal taxation and entity structuring before joining the family CPA practice in 2001.
Since then, he has focused on serving small businesses and their owners with corporate and partnership tax planning and compliance (Forms 1120S, 1120, and 1065), as well as individual income tax matters (Form 1040).
He works closely with clients to evaluate their tax position and implement forward-looking strategies designed to improve efficiency and minimize risk.
Jason brings particular depth in partnership taxation, including hot asset calculations, basis roll-forwards, liability analysis, and partner classification planning to enhance tax outcomes while maintaining technical precision.
